Collapse in a fit of Laughter….

Ok so… If you talked to me yesterday I was so completely not myself… Well to be honest I still don’t think that I am myself but… I think that I am mildly more upbeat then I was yesterday…

Here is the story…

So work sucked yesterday… I spewed all of my suppressed feelings out to my BF on email and I felt drained. I just wanted to get in my car and get sucked back into my audio book to forget everything about the day…

I do think that it worked because half way home I was no longer thinking about anything except the story blaring out of my speakers and the bottle of Merlot that I was going to happily suck down when I got home.

I arrived home to see my Leo sitting out side reading a magazine I kissed him hello then walked in and greeted my furry babies. Once they were happy enough that I was home I walked over to the wine rack and pulled a bottle of the red yummy happy juice off of the rack.

The bottle opened with complete ease like it was waiting for me. I proceeded to pour a glass and then walked back out side to chat with my hubby about my day… I spilled again every fear and suppressed feeling that I had been having to his honest and very understanding ears…

After we talked for about an hour and a half about all of the stuff that I had been thinking about… The phone rang breaking our conversation, but I was feeling lighter then I had in a while. As I chatted with my Mom on the phone about some of the stuff that I have been doing in the last few weeks Leo went in to take a shower from his hard day of working around the house.

20 minutes later I am off the phone with my Mom and about to make a sandwich (because the 2 glasses of wine and the soon to be consumed 3rd Glass was starting to “effect” me. LOL) when Leo comes down from his shower and asks me if I want to go out to eat? Sure why the heck not I am feeling good from the Wine and from the recent release of the bats that were in my head….

So Off to the Long Horn we go….

At this point it is about 8pm so the restaurant is semi empty and Leo and I are very light heartedly walking into the building and about to be lead to our seat. I was telling him about something funny that I had seen on the internet at some point that day when Out of no where my Right foot slips out from under me and I land on my Ass in front of all of the other Guests that were quietly eating their dinner….

YUP! I did! I fell down and went boom.

I proceeded to laugh myself into a total stupor until the Manager nervously came up to make sure I was “ok” then offered to write up a incident report… LOL

I told him that I was fine that the extra padding that I have let grow on my ass cushioned my fall. He didn’t seem convinced but I couldn’t stop laughing at myself long enough to make him feel better…

The waitress came up to our table and we ordered all the while laughing and replaying the fall for each other lol. A good time had by all….

Once we were done eating and were about to get ready to leave the waitress came up to our table with a HUGE plate with 2 pcs of Cake and 2 scoops of Ice cream and said it was on the house due to the fall… LOL

This of course set us in another wave of laughter and Leo said that if this is all we had to do to get a free desert at a restaurant that we should do it more often and maybe get more.. LOL

I told him that I would let him know how my ass felt the next day before I would do anything like that again… Well needless to say… My bum hurts… so I wont be doing it on purpose any time soon… LOL
